What differentiates Canto Digital Asset Management from other similar products?
Canto is a great photo, video, and document management system, but the customer service leaves room for improvement, especially when dealing with billing.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Sharing photos externally is simple and easy to use, and allows for multiple controls to ensure content security.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Our company recently made the decision to close our account with Canto, and closing with them has been a nightmare. They have made the exiting process extremely time consuming and difficult, and has even gone so far as to charge a new invoice an old card we requested to no longer be on file with them. If we ever had planned to come back to Canto while our company grows, that is now off of the table. Make sure if you are joining on with Canto that you intend to stay with them forever.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure you really see Canto as the #1 in this area for your company needs, as it is a big challenge to close out once you have an account with them.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing

Go through an extended demo with their sales team first and see ALL of the features this platform has to offer. That will help offset the mindset when it comes to cost.
