What differentiates Brightidea Innovation Cloud from other similar products?

Brightidea is truly looking at the entire process of idea management and offer many different products to help organizations manage their ideas. While their entire product would be fairly expensive, even just one piece of their product, "Pitch," made for an amazing experience that helped our organization surface over 100 new ideas from

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The hands-on implementation support from their Innovation Consultant. Their willingness to meet us where we were and truly get behind our innovation efforts made the implementation of Brightidea and the running of our first Innovation competition an astounding success!

What do you dislike most about this product?

During the sales process it was not made clear to me that the various parts of the product were sold separately. I thought we'd be able to pick the option that worked best for us, not be locked into one from the outset. We made it work and work well for us, but that was confusing initially. I also wish there were an easier way to send an email to all users manually. You can set conditions for messages to go out, but sometimes, especially when there's a limited scope to the product, it would be nice to just send a message to all users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Buy the implementation and training support from their Innovation Consultants. Working with a dedicated innovation consultant to help us set up our first innovation competition and walk us through the process allowed us to go from signing a contract, implementing the product, and then running our first innovation competition all within 6 months. We would never have been able to pull it off without their help.
