What differentiates BigCommerce from other similar products?

We moved from Shopify to BigCommerce and found that it offered more function and flexibility.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Powerful and secure

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can be complicated at times, and some of the base features are lacking, such as sort order implementation and search engine features. We had to purchase apps for this basic function to work properly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do research and understand that there will be a period of growth to understand where everything is.

What differentiates BigCommerce from other similar products?

BigCommerce is the best fit for our store due to its ability to handle an exceptionally large catalog. Shopify did not seem like a good fit when we ran a trial before selecting BigCommerce. The drag and drop categories made building our site a breeze.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

BigCommerce is very dependable. We have rarely had an issue with downtime and when it did occur, they had it back up and running in no time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish some of the built-in features weren't so basic that we must pay externally for apps to make it better. Such as shopping cart abandonment, email templates, and product review requests.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try a trial and see if it works for your store. It is extremely easy to build the store in simple steps and you can quickly get a feel for how it will work for you.
