Azure DevOps is great for managing our scrum channels and boards. We can add test cases and we don't need any additional plugin. Also, tracking down bugs and fixing issues is easy compared to other solutions.

Bundled Product with variety of features !
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?
1. Its ability to integrate with all other azure services. This smoothens the overall cycle of development to test to deployment oer different environments. 2. It is highly customisable. Our team is able to create custom builds, pipelines, work items etc. 3. It is easy to scale up and scale down. Depending on varying team size, new VM's/licences can be dynamically added with great identity management. 4. Its analytical features help to visualise data in an efficient way which makes it easy to derive insights.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite feature would be its seamless integration with other Azure apps. One can develop and deploy their solution inside the Azure ecosphere without the need of integrating with external third party apps since it offers all the features under one umbrella. Even the code deployed comes with version control and the whole console an be managed under IAM. Only required people with required access can perform tasks on the console.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is a little complex and difficult to understand for juniors or executives. Associates need to be mentored to make them efficient for using the tool which adds a slight overhead to the project implementation. Another thing would be the difficulty in moving to different plans. This a grey area and makes it complex to move from one plan to another.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
1. Begin with defining your project plan clearly. Identify your team size, bandwidth, current implementations etc. so that you have clear idea of what set of requirements are needed from the platform. 2. Do a small trial run before implementing on a large scale, so as to gain software confidence and team comfortability with new tool. 3. Document all your findings in a knowledge repository for future use. 4. Keep track of features and their billed/estimated costs in a month in order to avoid going overboard.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
