Best ALM suite, won't burn your pockets

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

It has a simple superior interface bundled with multiple features that makes it the most preferred solution among other competitors. It is extremely easy to create, manage, code, test and deploy features for a product and maintain the lifecycle neatly. The best part is there are multiple 3rd party integration supports.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease and flexibility it provides to build, test and deploy applications smoothly is what makes Azure DevOps really stand out!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing at the current moment. A bit costly but worth every penny!

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a total value for money and being a freemium product, there is no harm in trying and exploring the features this super-duper ALM suite provides.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

Best tool for Scrum teams

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

It's really easy to adapt from any background with minors or no customizations. It's ready to fulfill most of the needs of any development team out of the box. Similar products need multiple addons/plugins to archive just the same features and qualities that ADO provides by default.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The free experience provides the same features for small teams, enough to get used to it and test if it fits for your team (it probably will)

What do you dislike most about this product?

Azure DevOps is an Azure service, so, if Azure gets any problem in your region, not only your software (Webs, APIs, VMs, etc) using azure is going to be affected, your Azure DevOps it's probably going to be affected also, Boards, Code, Tests, etc. Is not usual, but when it happens, it creates a major impact on the whole company, especially if you are heavy Microsoft dependant.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try the free version, you have almost all the features you will have if paying for a licence. You can even use it for a small team for the time you need.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Broad range of customizations from simple ticket management to complex testing and tracking.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Slow speed of new features and no public roadmap.
