What differentiates Azure Cosmos DB from other similar products?

Azure offers several cloud services that enable me to create cutting-edge, cloud-native business solutions. These services may all be accessed using a simple portal, a CLI, PowerShell for automation, APIs, and SDKs for application development. Backed by top-notch documentation and educational resources, as well as a large and passionate community of technology enthusiasts, to assist me in developing the ideal company solution.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The first thing I enjoy about Azure is its consumer-friendly user interface, which allows anyone new to Azure to administer Azure apps quickly. The second thing is that learning materials provided by Microsoft through the Microsoft Learn portal help a lot. I can say that even someone with good experience on Azure who gets stuck because he doesn’t know how to handle exception scenarios, can easily find a solution by going through Microsoft documentation in a very quick manner. The third thing is that the support team from the product side means from the Microsoft team is very beneficial by giving a few helpful tips on how to get started.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The documentation for the Azure Bot Service is a little complicated. Documentation should be enhanced, and more languages should be supported; now, it only supports node.js and C#.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The best part about Azure cloud services is that they offer preview versions of several of their services, as well as free versions of certain of their resources. They also provide us with free credits the first time I use particular services, and I can use cost management programs to maximize the use of my resources.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity
  • Efficient Service
