What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?

Excellent tool to manage AWS and third party and customized resources that we had, clearly demonstrates product future

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to configure infrastructure across the accounts version control and great feature to deploy the resources in a repeated manner where automation can be achieved

What do you dislike most about this product?

We cannot put comments inside the template which I feel is a limitation from the product

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We would definately not look at other tools especially since we were solely evaluating for our AWS environmental.

What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?

AWS cloudformation relatively easy to understand and write up, the editor is readily available in AWS console and massive adoption by 3rd party tools and agents

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

YAML can be used to write the statements and easy to learn, this is complete automation tool and we have the automation environment with this tool and integrated with other third party applications

What do you dislike most about this product?

This tool is limited to AWS platform level infra only, can't use it for server internal configurations purposes or hybrid cloud

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

AWS cloudformation is solving the business continuity issues for many organisations around the globe and simple steps we can create templates of the application

What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?

AWS cloudformation is an best tool to manage AWS and it has been an amazing service to use for our operations team, it's able to set up serverless application

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It provides the ability to automate the process of deploying Lambda into AWS cloud and which helps us in CI/CD and we can download the simple template file

What do you dislike most about this product?

Document can be improved and I don't think all ways are documented at a single place

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We can leverage the cloudformation templates for provisioning the infrastructure
