What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?

Cloud Formation allows you to use a script to build and configure an AWS-based deployment. it makes it easy to deploy, configure and update containers in ECS using just one click.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It can be used to create and manage a wide variety of AWS resources

What do you dislike most about this product?

AWS CloudFormation has a steep learning curve, particularly for users who are unfamiliar with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles or AWS services.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

AWS CloudFormation is ideal for cases in which all of your resources must be provided on AWS, but it is not appropriate for hybrid cloud installations. It is good for infrastructure stack visibility and tracking.

What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?

It's built into AWS which makes is a good proprietary IaS tool

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is sometimes not general enough, like if I wanted to implement something in GCP I can't do it in the same config as cloud formation

What do you dislike most about this product?

Terraform is just a better all-around IaS tool

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The YAML format is super intuitive
