What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?

since it is native to AWS cloud and has JSON as its DSL it favours operations teams far better.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect is that it has zero cost attached to it and we are charged for only the resources provisioned.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike is it doesn't have support for yaml as a domain specific language.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend this for operations teams working on AWS as part of implementing IaC.

It's not supporting to migrate the scripts other than AWS.

Migrate the scripts from one AWS account to other AWS account with less effort

What differentiates AWS CloudFormation from other similar products?

It's built into AWS which makes is a good proprietary IaS tool

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is sometimes not general enough, like if I wanted to implement something in GCP I can't do it in the same config as cloud formation

What do you dislike most about this product?

Terraform is just a better all-around IaS tool

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The YAML format is super intuitive
