What differentiates Autodesk Construction Cloud from other similar products?

Improvements have been made to make this from the old BIM 360 and there is more to do, however it is a neat interface and the templating has been something in particular which is easy to set up and implement across and organisation. Once you get used to the different modules and sub headings it is quick to navigate and use across the work stages.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Internet based and good interface.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Could be more training material that is focussed on certain issues - it has been tricky to find some information. Developing some of the links to models would be good so that this is automated. With so much data better connectivity to PowerBI will be powerful in the future.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

There are a lot of CDE/cloud based hosting options coming out all the time, Autodesk will be one of the most expensive so look around. Make sure it fits your requirements as once you are bought in it will be tricky to move away from this.

What differentiates Autodesk Construction Cloud from other similar products?

is a super easy to use program is its main difference.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We work heavily online. All of our documentation, information management, and model management is completed through Autodesk Construct Cloud. One of the most effective uses for Autodesk Construct Cloud is the issue and markup functions. Our drawings are marked up and easily communicated through Autodesk Construct Cloud. We work with Autodesk Construct Cloud for all of our projects and it is easy to learn and use. Access can be given easily and removed when it is not needed, and managing and using documents and plans are easy to use, view, and communicate with others.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While it's rare, it's irritating when it does happen and the files are unable to synchronize. Even though the service is generally excellent, there are times when a problem persists after many attempts to contact someone there.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Have someone who is familiar with both the program and the amount of engagement that each member of the team will have in order to correctly set up the rights of the members and the structure of the file storage.
