Amazon EC2 stands out from other cloud computing services by providing a secure, reliable, and scalable platform to run applications and services with the flexibility to scale up or down quickly. It also offers a wide range of tools and services to improve the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of your applications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Amazon EC2 is its scalability and flexibility, allowing me to quickly and easily scale my applications up or down depending on the changing needs of my business. The wide range of tools and services available to improve the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of my applications is also a major plus.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The one thing I don't like about Amazon EC2 is the cost, as it can be quite expensive for larger-scale applications. However, there are ways to reduce costs by utilizing the many tools and services available to optimize the performance of your applications.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My recommendation for someone considering Amazon EC2 would be to do your research and have a clear understanding of your application's needs before signing up. Additionally, make sure to utilize the available tools and services to optimize the performance and cost of your application, test out the platform to get a feel for how it works before committing.

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

It has more servers present at different location which makes the latency lower for some applications which might use real-time data or require faster execution times.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It not just offers specific tools for ML part( model building) but it has other related AWS services that can be easily integrated and are part of the whole software development part. One cool feature of the pricing model is that there is also a feature to bid on instances to get them at lower cost if allotted and available. This is helpful especially in cases where the compute requirement don't charge drastically and an estimate of resource can be calculated beforehand.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The learning curve is not that easy as in many cases people end up paying extra due to overutilization of resources which would be more of development problem as it is not always possible to get a near perfect instance that satisfies the need for a given task .

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It contains multiple preset instances that you can spin up in minutes in case of an ML work and does not require time to spend performing all the setups, and it also has many specialized instances for different applications, such memory/GPU optimized. Just try it out; you never know whether this may be the service you've been waiting for all along.

Less pricing specific dashboard. It only provides the pricing on alerts and after usage.
