What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

its the very first product from AWS and due to which it has a long history and it has added breadth of features(which till now served almost all our requirements) and it serves well to everyone, from startups to very large orginizations and it has a great onboarding guides and blogs to explain its most commonly used features, which helps in easy onboarding.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

we can easily create a new virtual servers in different part of the world and can easliy deploy any kind of the applications to it, and if we want we can easily setup autoscaling polices to save us time and cost

What do you dislike most about this product?

its quite pricy as compare to the other smaller vendors like Digital ocean(DO) and there is no region specific cost benefits and high discounts are often given to large companies based on their workload, hence often times managing cost is difficult for SMEs

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

please check how much capacity you need and compare this with other vendors, as its not easy migration to move from one VM provider to another
