What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

Scale and breadth of services offered.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Relatively low price, and easy to provision additional resources.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Wish there were more PaaS type solutions provided similar to Heroku.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We use AWS for the majority of our web application servers and data storage. AWS appears to have the most flexibility and range of services under one offering when compared to other solutions.

Ease of integration and faster deplyoments compared to other cloud.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

AWS IoT is my favorite. Its so cool. Integratong real time data and making an application out of it is good.

What do you dislike most about this product?

UI should be improved. Seriously.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ease of deployments and ease of IoT integration.

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?

Different array of products that have been evaluated over time and proven to be effective for the required workload. They do not only have the three different popular models ( IAAS, PAAS and SAAS ) they also have lots of managed services that you can use for your specific use case. AWS is truly a market leader

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like fact that there hasn't been any issue or need so far that our company or clients we work with have not been able to resolve using AWS.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Well, nothing good comes cheap but it's worth it in AWS. For this, I will always say make sure you have only qualified people to do your work and they will know how to help your company manage and save costs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Get the free tier account and try to see if its best suited for your need and workload before jumping in. But trust me if you have tasted other cloud providers and you decide to use AWS, I really doubt if you will turn your back especially if your environment is not multi cloud .
