Its easy to use and quick to get started with many common integration senarios.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Graphical instead of code

What do you dislike most about this product?

Slow to add features, complex integrations become impossible to maintain and understand.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have simple integrations eg: transform on format to another then its great. It gets hard fast when you try to integrate queries to databases, APIs, etc.

What differentiates Altova MapForce from other similar products?

No need to know programming. It is really an ETL product where the programming is graphical (drag and drop). Clear and easy to use. It is possible to generate the code in other languages such as JAVA. We work with EDIFACT, ODETTE, X12, etc. integration and it supports all structures.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy integration between EDI formats (Idoc, Edifact, Odette, X12), XML, BBDD. FlatFile, etc

What do you dislike most about this product?

Missing a trace output (log). In other used products we had this file and for errors it was very useful.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have to integrate EDI files, databases, FlatFile is one of the easiest and most powerful products.
