What differentiates Altova MapForce from other similar products?

Takes a featherlite foot print but has a very large capability and capacity to map and integrate to and from many data types and databases

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to write SQL to access and write data. It's the extra ability to handle and create data to fit your needs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is no partner UI included. In other words anything involving trading partner information like trading partner names or keeping track of input data, output data or control numbers such as ISA/GS control numbers.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The product is great! You will need to create the Trade partner information and any kind of logging of control numbers, transactions traded that will be required when you deal with any customer doing EDI

What differentiates Altova MapForce from other similar products?

Scorpion Shipping is very satisfied with Altova products. We completed a very complex integration project for a large international client and choosing to use Altova MapForce was a key enabler of the project. We had previously explored using other products but realized that to use them we need to have programmers, and we need to code. MapForce saved us this and reduced the risk of project delay or failure.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We will rely on the MapForce/FlowForce software a lot in the future. Mastering it was a key competency for the company. We believe this competence becomes also our competitive advantage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No dislikes

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Keep making great products that make business life easier and free it from the bondage of outdated legacy technologies and expensive specialists.
