What differentiates Altova MapForce from other similar products?

Altova Mapforce is a data mapping platform with cross-platform compatibility, flexible configuration to projects and input and output execution parameters, includes the data transformation engine to work in server environments with XML, DB, EDI, Excel data transformations. and Web services from optimized data mappings processed in runtime files, Altova Mapforce Server's data transformations take it to the next level with parallel processing capabilities and cross-platform support.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Provides GUI for mapping between two different entities. Flexibility to write custom functions as well allows to use database. Can generate the code and customise if required. Provides flexibility to debug while doing the mapping. Most recommended tools for mapping solutions. It also the quickest way to finish mapping when compared to writing our own code or using other tools which are currently available in market. It provides all standard EDI format preloaded with in tools . Hence we do not have to spend time by configuring the EDI file. We as well can configure our own EDI file.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If we have more number of fields and there is some logic to be applied then the UI screen looks messy. It will be good to have a search button to find out particular function in the large mapping rules.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Easy to integrate . We can use the jar files to integrate. Anyone can start using it .Zero coding. Lot of in-built functionalities.
