What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Altova MapForce is unique with deep format support (XML, JSON, EDI, databases), simple drag-and-drop operation, and code generation (Java, C#, XSLT) in-line. It has support for bidirectional data transformation, workflow automation, and API invocation. It is different from most ETL tools in that it supports regulatory compliance formats like XBRL and EDI, which makes it applicable to finance and healthcare. Its multi-directional mapping and adaptable automation enhance sophisticated data integration workflows.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The biggest weakness of Altova MapForce is its steep learning curve, especially for those who are not comfortable with complex data transformations. Flexibility to write customize according to various functions within our organization Ability to write our own code and debug prior to and after mapping. Standard EDI format preloaded with in tools

Unstructured format of xml such as sgml not supported
