What differentiates Altair RapidMiner from other similar products?

The capabilities of text mining, and the great number of algorithms available for users.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Specifically good at text mining, available trainings are great, no real coding need to perform many tasks (joins, calculations, etc.), fast in many respect (e.g.: reading databases) and also very intuitive to use

What do you dislike most about this product?

Certain operations can degrade performance, user interface feels a bit old, and data cleansing is specifically problematic with this tool

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I suggest you start with the free version before committing to paying for it.

What differentiates Altair RapidMiner from other similar products?

- Very good algorithms available and these algorithms are kept up to date. - Very good connection capabilities with other tools - Text mining is an absolute winner

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Available in the cloud - Visualization capabilities - Extensive data integration capabilities - Easy to learn

What do you dislike most about this product?

- UI could be better/more intuitive and more modern - Troubleshooting is a bit difficult - Support is not the best

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I suggest you have a clear use case for which you need a tool and understand what this tool can and can't do. Once you made sure Rapidminer can help you, ask for a demo and try out to be sure this will be the solution that solves for your problem.
