What differentiates Alchemer from other similar products?

Alchemer is one of the easiest survey platforms to use right out of the gate. The drag and drop survey builder interface is intuitive, and someone with prior experience with any of the popular survey platforms should be able to pick it up very quickly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's ease of use. We could build and launch surveys to our player base within an hour. It integrated well with our mobile game apps, so we were able to pop an interstitial in any game with a direct link to an Alchemer survey.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I found the dashboarding and report-creating features highly lacking, especially when compared to their major competitors. I was not able to customize charts or widgets in the dashboards to my liking or internal brand specifications, and I found the dashboard product often lagged significantly or froze altogether.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Alchemer is a wonderful tool for basic survey research needs. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that its competitors have, and customization and complex logic are a bit lacking, but it's VERY easy to learn and use and is cost-effective for businesses. Do your homework and ask for product demos using your own data to ensure that your business-critical complex skip logic requirements, reporting/dashboarding requirements, and/or API data passing needs can be met with the base product.

What differentiates Alchemer from other similar products?

Alchemer offers best in class UI and innovative features for UX and market researchers. Even advanced features are easy to find and implement.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease of use. While I use advanced features often, the UI and testing abilities make them easy to implement.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Software updates don’t receive adequate testing before going live. When there is a major update, it’s not uncommon for other features to break temporarily. Fixes are usually quick but still frustrating if you have a deadline.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

While some of the criticisms are valid (like lack of testing ahead of updates), overall the value provided by the software is well worth the subscription fee. I’ve worked with Alchemer for almost 10 years and I’ve seen the innovation and continual improvement to the product over time so they are a product dedicated to value and service.
