What differentiates Adobe InDesign from other similar products?

InDesign is pretty much the only tool for doing layout and prepress anymore. It has fully supplanted other options for professional use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of integration with other Adobe products (Photoshop & Illustrator)

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's very easy to forget things like packaging fonts for publication.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make checklists for saving your documents for publication so you don't forget fonts and images.

It's complex features and constant advancement of technology by the global leader in design software make it the best desktop publishing software.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Everything. It's all freaking awesome.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Cost. It's spendy but worth every penny when you purchase all the other Adobe apps.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go with the entire Creative Cloud license for all Apps. You'll save money and be grateful to have hundreds of tools and assets at your disposal.

What differentiates Adobe InDesign from other similar products?

The ability to create customisable templates that are easy to adapt, great workflow rate and can quickly batch content.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Wide range of typography and customisable fonts. Being able to truly make a font “pop” on a design. Other similar platforms lack this.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Adobe can be expensive and takes time to learn, it’s certainly not the most intuitive of platforms out there.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Adobe has a great renewal costing if you try and cancel your package!
