Excellent UI and Decent application wizard for the end user

Slick User Interface and dashboard

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think it’s alittle bit expensive and I would like a loner trial

It’s a very known company in the backup industry and I’ve seen this company grown very well

What differentiates Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud from other similar products?

It checks all the boxes for granular restore, image level restores - works on workstations/servers, whatever we need. Its reliable (unlike previous backup/DR vendors) and is still cost effective!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Reliability, security, support... checks all the boxes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Pricing for MSPs is a bit difficult.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Figure the pricing out - and just do it!

What differentiates Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud from other similar products?

I like the fact that Acronis supports multiple platforms. Some backup solutions are OS specific while others won’t integrate with Google or Microsoft.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The fact that it can be used with multiple platforms. I also like the monitoring aspect.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think the licensing/version aspects of the product are a bit cumbersome. It’s a little tough to understand what is or isn’t included in specific versions. This also might be an ”education” issue for me as the consultant..

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Don’t get overwhelmed with the product offerings. You can make it fit into your business or organization if you give it a chance.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.

File Explorer Granular Restore Individual files can be located and restored from backup media without the need for full system mounting and restore.

Backup Monitoring and Reporting Backup and replication are continually monitored for status and effectiveness. Detailed reporting is available on successful and unsuccessful operations.

Physical Backup for Multiple Platforms Backs up data and system info for non-virtualized systems. Primarily Windows and Linux servers but also, potentially, AIX, Unix and others.

Deduplication Implementation Deduplication of redundant data blocks is implemented by the solution. Deduplication can be at source, target, or globally (source and target).

Replication for Long Term Storage and Disaster Recovery Onsite backup data is replicated and stored to a public cloud (AWS, Azure). Can also include restore-to-cloud capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Application Awareness Application consistent backup and granular restore for application data from core applications such as MS SQL, Oracle, MS Exchange, MS SharePoint.

Integration With Storage Arrays Integrates with APIs from major storage vendors (NetApp, HP, Dell EMC) to leverage capabilities in these arrays such as data snapshots and replication.

Analytics Built-in real-time and historical reporting and analytics on SLAs, performance, and resource consumption, as well as predictive capabilities to plan & optimize.
