One key differentiator is its seamless integration of backup and recovery solutions with advanced cybersecurity features. Unlike many other products, which often require multiple tools to address these critical aspects of IT management, Acronis Cyber Protect consolidates them into a single, user-friendly platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its AI-based threat detection capabilities. Like during a recent incident, Acronis Cyber Protect flagged a zero-day malware variant before it could execute any malicious activity. It isolated the threat, preventing a potentially devastating breach and saving us from a major security incident.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One area that could be improved is the complexity of its user interface. For newcomers to the platform, it can be overwhelming due to the multitude of features and settings.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just tailor the product to your specific needs and make use of available training resources to maximize its potential.

Unlike other tools, we can say that this is very complete and unique since Acronis not only stores our data, but it also allows us to search and analyze large amounts of data, which makes it unique.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I like the most about this tool is that it is very reliable, it works smoothly and it is very easy to manage, besides that it executes the backup without any problem and without the need for additional works, besides its user interface It is very easy to use as well as modern.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since we are using this tool we have not found any fault with this product since it is very easy to use.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

One of the reasons why we can recommend this tool is because it is extremely easy to use and does not require any prior knowledge of similar software.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.

File Explorer Granular Restore Individual files can be located and restored from backup media without the need for full system mounting and restore.

Backup Monitoring and Reporting Backup and replication are continually monitored for status and effectiveness. Detailed reporting is available on successful and unsuccessful operations.

Physical Backup for Multiple Platforms Backs up data and system info for non-virtualized systems. Primarily Windows and Linux servers but also, potentially, AIX, Unix and others.

Deduplication Implementation Deduplication of redundant data blocks is implemented by the solution. Deduplication can be at source, target, or globally (source and target).

Replication for Long Term Storage and Disaster Recovery Onsite backup data is replicated and stored to a public cloud (AWS, Azure). Can also include restore-to-cloud capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Application Awareness Application consistent backup and granular restore for application data from core applications such as MS SQL, Oracle, MS Exchange, MS SharePoint.

Analytics Built-in real-time and historical reporting and analytics on SLAs, performance, and resource consumption, as well as predictive capabilities to plan & optimize.

Integration With Storage Arrays Integrates with APIs from major storage vendors (NetApp, HP, Dell EMC) to leverage capabilities in these arrays such as data snapshots and replication.
