What differentiates Acquia Drupal Cloud from other similar products?

Wide breadth of features and functionality covering marketing, analytics, content, personalization, DAM, and more.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Strong play for B2B marketing, government, and higher-ed due to the focus on strong content organization and permissioning across multiple business units.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Acquia has a lot of different product sets, mostly made through acquisition. Their marketing automation and CDP functionality are just okay.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are government or education, Acquia is strong. If you are looking for best-in-breed for commerce, retail, B2B tech, or other industries look for a better composable approach that is truly headless.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to manage multiple sites, configure parameters within hosting settings, and access a user-friendly control panel for visibility into website environments and services stands out. Fast deployment and excellent documentation further enhance the overall experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The support for technical problem-solving tends to take longer than expected, with response times being slower than desired. While the team is knowledgeable, the delay in addressing issues can sometimes affect productivity.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Highly recommended for Drupal and e-commerce websites requiring fast response times.

What differentiates Acquia Drupal Cloud from other similar products?

The cloud admin UI makes it amazingly easy to manage your dev, stage & prod environments for all sites. The Cloud CDN is excellent. We've experienced only solid uptime and performance. We have multiple development agencies working on sites and the permission-setting is very straightforward.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We are now using Cloud SiteFactory as the foundation of our Drupal ecosystem. Its flexibility is an enormous benefit as we grow into a more expansive system of integrated sites.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price point takes some getting used to, but this is enterprise-level security and scalability. For the money, their support/maintenance ticketing system should be much easier to use than it is. The updates can be very difficult to parse and it's hard to feel confident that the right people are being cc'd.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Test drive using Drupal. You'll want to ensure that Drupal is suitable for your organization's content producers and developers before considering Acquia.
