With a single tap on their mobile device, employees can approve logins and other actions, even verifying automatically from trusted locations. Just click your username and tap to approve the login with Salesforce Authenticator and the added security of your thumbprint. Lightning Login is fast, convenient, and minimizes the complexities and security risks associated with passwords.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It shows current user location and address and we can also set always approve for that location. Along with that it shows which device user is using to login into salesforce.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes it takes too longer to get authentication request once user submit for request.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is an easy to use application.

What differentiates Salesforce Authenticator from other similar products?
It is easily managed within the salesforce admin menus. So it is easy to reset or to assist a known user to access the system while still keepoing your data safe.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
it's simple, it does one job and doesn;t overcomplicate anything.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is nothing to dislike about this product. It is a well designed authenticator. it does the job, is easy to install and use.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you do not secure your login any other was (SAML SSO etc) then there's really nothing esle that you can do. It is both essential and mandatory in the latest release, But you secure other logins and the data in Salesforce is priceless so make sure to secure that.
