Siteimprove was first implemented to aid in making our site more accessible. It does frequent automatic scans of the site to identify problems and accessibility flaws. In addition, we utilize Siteimprove's Siteimprove Academy for online accessibility instruction. After we had some success with accessibility, we branched out into using Siteimprove for quality control, performance monitoring, and other analytics purposes.

It is of the utmost importance to be able to educate new web users on the need of accessibility as well as to be able to check entire websites for accessibility, spelling, and style issues. Siteimprove provides solutions for bringing order and uniformity to huge websites, managing several websites, or websites with multiple authors. If your website isn't very big, you generally don't need it. There are a plethora of smaller proofreading and accessibility scanners that are free to use, and Google Analytics is a reliable ally. When dealing with a tiny site that can be updated by one person or a small team, heavy armament isn't necessary.

What do you dislike most about this product?

In spite of its useful features, Siteimprove comes at a hefty price. Client success managers appear to be replaced frequently, making it difficult to build a strong working relationship with them. Unfortunately, the price of the sophisticated SEO tools is so high that we cannot afford to include them in our SEO basic plan.
