One programme that emulates the use of many others

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Microsoft Teams is much more than just a video conferencing piece of software. The use of different teams, file sharing, and integration of calendar with Microsoft Outlook massively benefit our workflow.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

How seamless the sharing features are within video calls. We often have numerous members of staff sharing their screens one after another in meetings, and this is done fairly easily after minimal training with staff. Screensharing works much better in large meetings than it has in previous software we have used.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only thing that springs to mind is that powerpoint slides can freeze on everyones but the hosts screen. This means that every now and again people have to turn off/on screensharing to update it again.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do it and reap the benefits from day 1.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Efficient Service

Cons

  • Leverages Incumbent Status

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

It is one of the most trusted and secure application./ Great set of feature for auto message when ooo and notification for that in group. Ease of creating groups.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Highly secure and very trusted organisation tool. Considerably fast and easy to use. Instant chats and notifications are good. Smooth screen sharing. Integration with tools like Jira and build pipeline

What do you dislike most about this product?

Little slow with weak network. Reconnect feature could be improved. Large file size of application, and little costly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely should be use for managing teams and in organisation. Al little high on cost that is justified for the product and the owner brand name.
