The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. What differentiates Gong from other similar products?
I'm a fan of the speech-to-text AI (audio transcription) and ability to search by keywords, topics, trackers, etc. It's easy to find what you're looking for, which seems like a minor thing but when you have hundreds of calls to sift through, having a great search feature can save you a ton of time. I've also been impressed with the dashboards and analytics, as well as the attention being paid to further build out these features to be even more helpful (especially the "deal insights" aspect.) I'm also very happy with the contact I've had with Gong's customer-facing team.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I definitely appreciate the audio transcripts. It's usually much faster to read through calls than to listen to them, and I can find competitive intel or background for potential future case studies more easily.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I don't think I would call it a "dislike" necessarily, but the Library feature has potential that isn't being used currently. I would love to see the AI built out to recommend content for the library folders rather than needing to be manually populated.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Go for it. I can see there being some pushback from some teams about not wanting to feel recorded/listened to all the time, but Gong fosters transparency and collaboration - so keep company culture in mind as you implement it.
