If you have a WordPress website, then I would recommend you try WPForms.

What differentiates WPForms from other similar products?

Form plugins are basically all the same - the biggest difference for WPForms is that there is a free (limited) version which is great for basic forms on brochure sites, as well as its user interface. The UI is very intuitive and easy to use, and competes with the best of the WordPress plugins out there.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

WPForms' easy-to-use UI makes it an excellent solution for small brochure-style websites, which are perfect for our clients that don't require larger or more complex projects. The software is easy to use, flexible and works well with its SMTP plugin meaning your email will never get lost in the black hole of spam.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price is really the biggest drawback besides the number of integrations. The website offers a discount, but after that the price is nearly double compared to "leading" form plugin. It also doesn't offer as many custom features and third party integrations, so it may not be for everyone - though their commitment to webhooks has been improving.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

WPForms is a great solution for basic contact forms. We use their SMTP plugin to ensure email delivery, and this has proven to be an easy-to-use option with just enough features. Our clients appreciate how straightforward and user-friendly it is. If you need something more complex though, you would have to purchase a license, which is price. But what WPForms offers should be good enough for most small, brochure-style websites.

What differentiates WPForms from other similar products?

My experience includes many forms plugins. I have also written and supported many CRM systems that include workflow. WPForms is, without question, one of the most flexible and easy to use for non-technical users. I consult with clients from sole proprietor to large corporations. This product is clearly designed for companies whose website generates a neighborhood of $7,500 or more per year. This made it attractive to only 3 of my 80+ clients. Because I needed features only available to ELITE users for my personal website, I found "Contact Forms 7" to be easier to implement and have gone back to it. WPForms was not willing to negotiate price.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to implement and use for non-technical users. For the service industry (non product-centric) it is easy to install, setup and use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Product-centric features are currently lacking and without the use of the "Webhooks" plugin there are severe limitations to integration with any CRM plugin. To small businesses desiring a low-cost solution to Forms management and CRM integration this is NOT your best option. If there was a perpetual license option it would be my choice, but the subscription only model doesn't work for me or my clients.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Before getting sucked into the free or low-cost option and working to convert your forms in another plugin, do your homework and research first. This a feature-rich plugin, but it is NOT open to customization outside of their own plugins. They hold you hostage, and if you do not continue to pay the annual subscription fee they severely handicap your existing forms and stop all updates - including security updates to stop vulnerabilities.
